Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hind formally inaugurated the newly constructed building of Radiance Viewsweekly

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari formally inaugurated the newly constructed building of Radiance Viewsweekly at Dawat Nagar in the national capital on Friday, 6th October 2017. Making the lift in the G+4 building operational was the last item of the Radiance Building project. To mark this occasion, a programme was held on the premises of the weekly. Vice Presidents’ JIH Nusrat Ali and T. Arif Ali and Secretary General JIH Dr. Mohammad Salim Engineer were also present in the programme.

Mr. T. Arif Ali, Chairman Board of Islamic Publications, said this building is a milestone in the history of Radiance. This will meet financial needs of the weekly and help translate the future plan for its revamping.  He informed the gathering that he has employed the services of a consultant in order to make a market study of the weekly to ensure its growth. Insha Allah, it will meet the challenges of the future.

Earlier, extending thanks to Allah the Exalted and recognizing the contributions of all those who played an instrumental role in the completion of the building project, Dr. Waquar Anwar, Secretary Board of Islamic Publications, under which Radiance is run, remembered in particular Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Aslam and Mr. Intizar Naeem. He said with the completion of this building project, Radiance would stand self-sufficient and can move forward vigorously to cherish its aims and objectives.

 

Sharing his experiences of working with Radiance, Dr. S. Ausaf Saied Vasfi, former Deputy Editor of the weekly, stressed that Radiance should have its own printing press and a mechanism of training young boys and girls in the field of journalism. We will have to focus thereon as the future of journalism is going to be different.
