Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Dr. Mohammad Salim Engineer attended “An International Conference – Islamic Psychology(Nature, Methods and Applications)” at Indian Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi.

This Conference was organized by Centre for Study and Research(CSR), Hyderabad and Indian Council on Islamic Perspective in Psychology(ICIPP), New Delhi. It was a 2-day long conference in which Lecturers, Scientists and Researchers from various field and experts from Indonesia and England have participated.

At his keynote speech as a guest of honour, Secretary General said – We all researchers have to take guidance from the Book of Allah “The Quran” during our each and every research work. He also mentioned that some people or a sect. Of people thought that Islam is against the research work but its incorrect as Islam is the only religion which propagates and encourages the research work.

He also said that We have to find the cure for diseases like – Depression, Frustration, Negativity and that kind of psychological disease under the guidance of Quran. At the end of his speech, he mentioned that – I am very happy to see that a large number of Muslim youth is coming in the field of research work and the presence of women in that is very remarkable.
