Islamic Information Centre Stall

In its endeavour to reach out to our National Brothers in large numbers, JIH Delhi & Haryana zone set up a stall in the World Book Fair held at Pragati Maidan Delhi from 9th to 17th January 2016 under the banner of Islamic Information Centre (IIC).

The 9 day affair in which publishers from all nooks & corners of the country, along with many of their overseas counterparts, participated saw a huge footfall exceeding twenty thousand at the IIC stall. People were eager to obtain a free copy of the translation of holy Quran and other Islamic Literature.

A large number of them had queries about Islam which were answered by the experts brought in for this purpose. Almost all of the visitors highly appreciated the effort of IIC to make Islamic knowledge available to them and the answers provided to their queries.
Translation of the holy Quran in three languages was available at the stall. The most in demand was in Hindi. Many opted for the English translation, while a few took the one in Punjabi.

Hindi & English version of the book “Islam Aatank ya Adarsh” penned by Swami Lakshmi Shankaracharya was also in great demand. For visitors seeking information on the life of Prophet Mohammad the book “Mohammad the Prophet of Islam” by Prof. Rama Krishna Rao proved to be a great attraction.
The stall attracted visitors from all walks of life – Professors, Doctors, Judges, Advocates, Journalists, Writers, Research Scholars etc.
