Jamaat wishes the world peace and prosperity in New Islamic Year’s message

New Delhi, November 5: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has wished the world peace and real prosperity in its New Islamic Year’s message today. The New Islamic Year (1435 Hijri) started today on the first day of Muharram – the first month of Islamic calendar.

“We pray to Allah to make the new Islamic Year the year of peace and real prosperity in the world. We pray that the prestige and reputation
of humanity are restored, and the entire humanity, particularly our country get rid of all types of atrocities and exploitation,” said
Mohammad Salim Engineer, National Secretary, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind in his New Year message this evening.

“We pray to Allah that Ummat-e- Muslimah of the world, particularly Islamic movements in Egypt, Bangladesh, Syria, Palestine, Turkey,
Tunisia and other countries get strength to combat trials and tribulations they are facing and get success,” he prayed.

He also wished the Muslim community in India a happy New Islamic Year – a year which brings the situation to normalcy.

“In our country, the Muslim Ummah is facing lots of problems. We pray to Allah to bring the situation to normalcy. We wish that Muslims
while executing their duty of Dai’ee also play important role in the development and progress of the country,” the Jamaat leader said.
