JIH Bihar organized statewide 10-day campaign on Shahadat-e-Haq

Patna: The 10-day long statewide campaign on the topic of Shahadat-e-Haq was organized by Bihar Zone of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. Several programs including seminar, symposium, public meetings and special meetings for Ulema, journalists and women were organized during the campaign from 9-18 November 2012 in different parts of Bihar.

Addressing a public meeting on the topic in Patna on 13th November, Maulana Mohammad Rafeeque Qasmi, Secretary, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind said no community can be more well-wisher for human being than Ummat-e-Muslima. It is our duty, which has been executed by prophets earlier, that we present Islam as a complete code of life before the society. We should tell the people Islam is solution to all problems whether they are economic, political or social.

Addressing the gathering, Noorullah Khan, Nazim-e-Ilaqa, Tirhut region, said no prophet will come to remove evils from the society. It is the duty of the Ummat-e-Muslima. Jamaat-e-Islami was founded on the basis of Shahadat-e-Haq and its founder Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maududi drew attention of leaders of his time to the issue, but when he got little response, he stood and formed the Jamaat with a few people.

In his speech, Ameer-e-Maqami, Patna, Rizwan Islahi urged audience to execute the duty of Shahadat-e-Haq under the banner of Jamaat. If they can’t come to Jamaat, they should attach themselves to any regious organization and do this duty.

Later in the day, addressing a special meeting with Ulema on the subject, Maulana Rafeeque Qasmi said Ulema have always provided leadership when the Ummat-e-Muslima have forgot its way. If Ulema get up today, entire Ummat will rise up.

Addressing the gathering of Ulema, Ameer-e-Halqa, Nayyaruzzaman said the root cause of problems and troubles with the Ummat is forgetting the duty of Shahadat-e-Haq. Jamaat Islami wants Ummat lead the world in every walk of life. Ulema should play a pivotal role to wake up the Ummat for the mission.

On the last day of the 10-day campaign, a symposium was organized on the topic of “Shahadat-e-Haq and Women” at Urdu Academy in Patna on 18th November. The program exclusive for women was addressed by several women intellectuals and scholars.

Addressing the gathering, Nasera Khanam said Muslim women today do not like Islamic culture and civilization and we have become fond of western culture. Syeda Arjumand Bano said our identity and existence depend on execution of Shahadat-e-Haq through our speeches, acts and deeds.
