New Delhi 13 Dec 2013: Ignoring all protests from the civilized world, the government of Bangladesh on Thursday night executed Maulana Abdul Qadir Molla, Assistant Secretary General, Jamaat Islami Bangladesh. Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari, Ameer (National President) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, has strongly condemned this step of Bangladesh government.

In a media statement on Friday, JIH chief Maulana Umari said that opposing any effort or tendency of secession and making effort for maintaining integrity of a country cannot be described as treason. Criminalization of the efforts of Maulana Abdul Qadir Molla and Jamaat Islami Bangladesh and leaders of other parties and convicting them for death or life imprisonment is brazen barbarism, which cannot be justified.

Maulana Umari said it is a fact that none of these leaders were prosecuted and charge-sheeted during the regime of Shiekh Mujib and even after the independence of Bangladesh, Jamaat Islami Bangladesh has been a renowned political party of the country and played constructive role both as a ruling and opposition party. In the age of democracy it is unthinkable that a ruling party, just for revenge, would level wrong heinous charges against political opponents ignoring all the requirements of justice. He urged the Bangladesh government to keep from such acts in future and appealed to the government of India and governments and people of entire world to raise voice against the oppression and brutality.

Ameer-e Jamaat described the death of Maulana Abdul Qadir Molla as martyrdom and expressed deep sympathy with his family members and colleagues of his organization. He prayed to Almighty Allah to pardon his sins, raise his place in the paradise and bestow patience to his family members and strength to all who are on the right path.

    Dear all,
Assalamu Alaikum. The latest judgment of Supreme Court in Abdul Qadir Mollah case shows that International Crimes Tribunal Act 1973 is faulty and flawed as it has excluded the review jurisdiction of Supreme Court.
The Act has also excluded the jurisdiction of domestic evidence Act and also international procedure on war crimes or crimes against humanity.
No justice can be expected from ICTribunal. All the accused will be victim of such law even exluding the allegation that most prosecutors and judges are partisan
The only course left is international pressure to abolish this Act and Tribunal and retry the accused
    in international court.

World is aware of the fake allegations on which Abdul Qadir Mulla Shaheed was executed. It is brazenly a political murder. The only witness managed in this case is Momena Khatoon. Her first statement is preserved in the research study on 1971 war of Bangladesh in which she stated her absence from the spot of murder of her father and other family members. The investigatin officials again called her as witness and obtained her statement that she was present at the time of murdenr but she did not named Mulla. Again she was managed to give her statement before the Tribunal in she alleged the involvement and presence of Mulla in the said murder. It is mockery of justice that the defence counsel was allowed limited scope of cross examination of the witness and prosecuting officers before the Tribunal. Moreover, how can it be a crime if people organises themselves to check the subversive activities against the country. Everybody knows that Al-Badra was a civilian outfit raised to defend East Pakistan during 1971 war which finally culminated to the separation of East Pakistan and creation of Bangladesh. If this logic is applied then who can dare to defend his nation against terrorist and mutinous group lest they succeed and declare a new nation. In fact, after more than 40 years, the chapter of 1971 tragedy has been opened to eliminate the strong Islamic minded political opponents by creating hysteria of that tragedy. But it would prove to be counter productive for the tyrant lady Sheikh Hasina. Millions of Bengali Muslims cannot be befooled for longer period. Bengali Muslims are more enthusiastic to Islam and every effort to de-Islamise Bangladesh would mobilise more strength for Islamic tendency in the country. This political murder is a heinous crime of the present government of Bangladesh.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajeewoon. It is inspiring to read the following last words of Martyr Abdul Khader Mulla
Last words of Abdul Quader Molla for his familyTHURSDAY, 12TH DECEMBER, 2013 After receiving the notification letter, the family members want to Dhaka central jail at 8 pm to meet him. At that time, Abdul Quader Molla informed his family that, he is not informed of anything about his much talked about execution. His medical check up and other formalities are not completed. He was acknowledged from his family men that the family is being invited by the prison authority to meet him for last occasion.
At that time, Abdul Quader Molla stated his family men that, I was your guardian. If this government would kill me unlawfully, that will be a death of martyrdom. Following my martyrdom, Almighty Allah will be your guardian. HE is better guardian. So you have nothing to be worried.
I am absolutely innocent. I am being murdered as I am involved with the Islamic movement. The death in martyrdom is not bestowed in everyone’s fate. If Almighty Allah blesses me with martyrdom, I would consider myself as the luckiest. The martyrdom will be the best achievement of my life. My every single blood will mobilize the Islamic movement and will bring the doom of the autocrats. I am not worried for myself. I am worried about the fate of this nation and the Islamic movement. To my knowledge, I have not committed any mistakes or offences. I have sacrificed my entire life for the Islamic movement. I have never bow down my head before irregularities, will never do by the grace of Almighty Allah. No question is raised of seeking mercy or life before any worldly authority. Allah is the only deciding authority of life and death. Allah will fix my fate. I will not be executed as per the decision of any individual. My time and date of martyrdom will be finalized as per the decision of Almighty Allah. I will accept the decision of Almighty Allah in any cases.
To the family members, he further stated that, you will keep patience. The blessings and forgiveness of Almighty Allah will be ensured through patience and tolerance. Only the salvation in the Akhirah is our only desire. I am seeking prayer and support of the people for acceptance of my martyrdom. I am saluting the countrymen for their support and blessings.

Hats off to the great martyr. Did not seek clemency even when persisted. This is a testimony to his clear conscience, honesty and integrity. Only such people go to gallows smiling.

May Almighty accept his service to Islam and humanity and shower His choicest blessings upon Him and give patience to his family members .

    ASSALAMU ‘ALAIKUM
WITH DUE RESPECT WE COMPLETELY REJET ALL YOUR REMARKS ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE OF BANGLADESH. THIS IS UTTERLY FA FALSE REMARK THAT I.C.T IS A FAULTY TRIBUNAL. THIS KADER MOLLA YOU NEVER KNOW COMMITED HEINOUS CRIME BY HIMSELF SLAUGHTERINF SOME NOTED PEOPLE HIMSELF. HIS HANGING HAS STARTED THE JUSTICE THAT THE PEOPLE OF BANGLADESH HAS LONG BEEN WAITING FOR THE LAST 42 YEARS, THE ACCUSE COULD APPEAL TO THE APPEALLETE DIVISION OF BANGLADESH SUPREME COURT. EVEN THE NUREMBRG TRIAL COURT DECISION COULD BE APPEALED EVEN THE PRESENTLY SOME OF THE DECISIONS COULD NOT BE APPEALED? SO HOW COME YOU CHALLENGE AND PROTEST THAT BANGLADESHI TRIBUNAL WITHOUT KNOWING THE FACTS AND BY SIDING A PARTY THATACTIVELY PARTICIPATE ON THE GENOCIDE OF 1971. IF YOU ARE MUSLIMS THEN PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT KADER MOLLA AND HIS JAMAHIS PARTY.TI ISLAMI PARTY, A PARTY OF RADICALS THAT DO NOT SUPPORT THE PRINCIPLES OF QURAN.

To Mr. Mahiuddin – some questions to you:

    1) Why there was no charge sheet against Shaheed Quader Mollah during 1971-2007?

    2) If he his a guilty person of such crimes, how come Shaikh Hasina and other AL leaders did agitation in 1996 side by side during 1996 against Khaleda Zia’s regime?

    3) Why the tribunal did not allow cross-examine Momena Begum when it appeared that she gave 3 statement in 3 occassions?

Like majority of the people of Bangladesh I believe, this is a sham tribunal to erase political opponents of AL and leftists. This is a judicial as well as political killing.
