JIH holds teachers training camp for its morning schools in Assam

Dhubri, Assam, November 7: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind started various relief and rehabilitation works since the riot occurred in the BTAD area of Assam. Along with other relief measures, Jamaat started Sabahi Makatib (Morning Part Time Islamic Schools) for children of the affected victims. In order to train teachers for these morning schools, Jamaat organised a three-day Teachers Training Camp at Beltoli (Upartari Jama Masjid) in the Bilasipara are of Dhubri district.

In the camp from 2-4 November 2013, various topics were discussed like children physiology, Tajweed, Quran Mashk, Sabahi Maktab Management, need of Sabahi maktab, Role of an Imam in Society etc.

Following resource persons offered valuable inputs. They included Maulana Zabir Ahmed, A. Sattar, Maulana Abdul Wahab, Dr. Dewan Nazrul Qadir, Maulana Shamsul Hoque Qasimi, Hafiz Qari A.Samad, Maulana Aminul Islam, Mufti Abdul Latif Qasimi, Sofiur Rahman Akand, Haris Ali.

As many as 39 teachers including 7 women participated in the training camp.
