Patna, 30 August 2014: The Patna unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Bihar organized a training camp for Haj pilgrims here at the mosque of Markaz-e Islami (formal name of state headquarters of JIH Bihar zone) last week. In his opening speech, Maulana Rizwan Ahmed Islahi, president of Patna JIH unit, urged upon the Haj pilgrims to take as much benefit from the Haj as they can.
“It is great pride that so far they have been reading in the pages of Quran, now they will see the greatness of Quran in the land of Quran. Haj pilgrims should study Quran and come back with the message of Quran. They should also bring the message of social revolution from the land of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him),” he said.
As trainer, Dr. Naseem Akhtar guided the participants. He talked about possible difficulties and precautions based on his experience. He guided them for their Haj trip which begins from Gaya airport and takes them through Mecca, Mina, Arafat, Muzdalafah and Madina.
Akhtar Adil Gilan, author of the book Hajj-e Maqbool guided the Haj pilgrims on practical details.
A Haj CD prepared by Indian Haj Mission was also screened on the occasion.
