JIH Secretary General expresses sorrow at devastation of thunderstorm in Bihar

New Delhi, 24 April 2015: Nusrat Ali, Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has expressed deep sorrow at the death of more than 40 people and injury to over 150 others during the devastating thunderstorm in 12 districts of Bihar. He also expressed sympathy with families of the deceased and the injured people.

 

Secretary General said the people of the state were already facing irreparable loss of crops due to fluctuations in season, and now the present storm has created more problems for them; that’s why all the affected people deserve state patronage and people’s sympathy and support.

 

Nusrat Ali welcomed the Bihar government’s announcement for immediate relief measures. He expressed hope that no delay will be made in taking relief to the affected people.

 

In the context of the Bihar thunderstorm and massive crop losses in different states, Secretary General of Jamaat urged the countrymen to review our way of life both at individual and collective levels to win pleasure of Almighty and to take all possible steps to save ourselves from his anger in the shape of natural calamities.
