JIH UP (East) Accomplishes ‘Dawah’ Campaign Successfully

Lucknow, 28 February, 2013: JIH UP (East) organized an invitation to Islam campaign successfully dated from 10-17 February, 2013, under the title “Attaining Salvation — Why & How?” at various important places of the zone, especially Lucknow, Jhansi, Allahabad, Benaras, and Gorakhpur. By the grace of Allah, this campaign was organized and operated with a great enthusiasm and our nation brethren appreciated this effort whole heartedly with a cheerful desire to have such campaigns regularly in future.

The campaign was started at Lucknow by Maulana Rafiq Ahmad Qasmi, secretary JIH; at Benaras by Maulana Ejaz Ahmad Aslam, secretary JIH, at Allahabad by Mohd. Iqbal Mulla, secretary JIH; at Jhansi by Mohd. Ahmad, secretary JIH, at Gorakhpur by Maulana Waliullah Saeedi Falahi, President JIH UP (East), and then all of them participated and had the chair of meetings held at various places in the zone as per their prescribed schedules. The campaign reached its end on 17 February, 2013, in an important program held at Lucknow under the presidency of Maulana Sayyed Jalaluddin Umri, President JIH. This program was preceded by a press conference and symposium held at Nupur a day before under the chairmanship of JIH President.

During the campaign, around 150 symposiums were organized with an average of 1,300 audiences in each. Around 10,000 sets of Hindi books on Islam were distributed as a gift among the nation brethren. Many press conferences were held at various places in the zone especially at Kanpur by JIH president, at Gorakhpur by President JIH UP (East), at Dewariya and Basti by Ejaz Ahmad Aslam.

The program had a great coverage by various Urdu, Hindi, and English newspapers. Various TV channels relayed the important programs of the campaign frequently which helped to convey the message of the campaign to crores of people.

During the campaign, special programs for non-Muslim women were also organized and sets of books were distributed among them. Ms. Tasnim Nuzhat, nazim-e-halqa UP (East), Ms. Sajida Abul-lais Falahi, nazim-e-ilaqa Gorakhpr, and Ms. Saliha Salihati spoke about the Islam to the non-Muslim women at different places in the zone.

Both SIO and GIO were also included to support the campaign along with their members and associates. They both organized and participated in various programs for students and youth. By the grace of Almighty, the campaign introduced and presented the Islamic concept of salvation to our nation brethren and conveyed its message to almost two crore individuals through various mediums and sources.

It was amazing that the campaign was organized and run at the time of Kumbh Mela at Allahabad which brought the opportunity to talk with our nation brethren about “Attaining Salvation — Why & How?”
