“We need to increase our Dawat Footprints on Social Media ten times in the next 2 years.” This call was given by Mohtaram Ameer e Jamaat Jb. Syed Sadatullah Husaini in his opening speech in the Social Media Workshop organized by Shoba Dawat, Markaz from 21-23 Sept.2019.

The 3 day workshop began with a Dars-e-Quran by Jb. Aziz Mohiuddin, Secretary Tanzeem. A case study on the use of Social Media to promote ones ideology was jointly presented by Jb Arshad Shaikh & Jb Inamullah Khan. Case studies on the use of Whatsapp, FB, Twitter & Quora were also presented by experts in these platforms.

During the Workshop practical sessions were held on content preparation like text, graphics & video clips and on the need to go in for proactive contents to reach the targeted audience. A presentation was also given on personal development techniques on Social Media.

The participants were also briefed on the ways to handle trolling and on the relevant laws governing the social media in the country. They were also guided on the use of Social media in emergency situations and on the topics that are followed and liked by the social media population.

The participants were also given the opportunity to share their experiences and on how to establish a network to organize our use of social media.

The program ended with the “Zad e Rah” from Mohtaram Ameer e Jamaat in which he again reiterated the need to increase our Dawat Footprints.
