The opening ceremony was followed by a “Masjid Darshan” programme on Feb.27, which attracted a large number of non-Muslim residents from the locality. The program aimed to educate them about the functioning of Islamic places of worship. The initiative promotes communal harmony and brotherhood within Indian society and encourages people of all faiths to visit the mosque as a symbol of peace and understanding. This program is part of a series of “Masjid Darshan” events currently being held across Karnataka.

Speaking at the opening ceremony and the “Masjid Darshan” programme, Maulana Saeedi Falahi emphasized the importance of unity. He stated that we all fought together for India’s freedom and now we must work together to create a more positive and friendly atmosphere in the country.

JIH state Secretary, Maulana Mohammad Yusuf Kunni, expressed delight at the presence of Swamiji and other Hindu leaders at the mosque’s opening ceremony, calling it a true reflection of India’s spirit. Countrymen were informed about the Namaz (Islamic prayer) process, including the meanings of the prayers, verses, and words recited during it.

Later in the evening, a public gathering attracted around five thousand attendees. Maulana Waliullah presided over the gathering and addressed the current communal situation in the country, emphasizing the Muslim community’s responsibility.
