New Delhi, 2nd March 2021: An online launching ceremony of the monthly English language e-magazine ‘AURA’, an initiative of the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Women’s Department is being held on Tuesday, 2nd March 2021 at 7:00 pm IST.
The women’s magazine is being officially launched by Dr. Sylvia Karpagam. Dr. Ghazala Jamil will deliver a keynote speech while JIH President Syed Sadatullah Husaini will give the presidential address.
The chief guest of the ceremony Dr Sylvia is a public health doctor and researcher working on social determinants of health and part of the right to food and right to health campaigns. Dr. Ghazala Jamil is an author and assistant Professor at JNU, New Delhi.
The launching ceremony is followed by a panel discussion on “The Politics of Health and Gender” with public health experts and academics. The JIH chief presided over the panel discussion. You may read the first E-magazine here on its website: http://www.auramag.in/
