JIH President with other leaders is launching Haadiya e Magazine.

 

New Delhi, 3rd March 2021: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) President Syed Sadatullah Husaini here on Tuesday launched a women’s Urdu monthly e-Magazine ‘Haadiya.’ It is being published under the supervision of the JIH women’s department.

 

Presiding over an online launching ceremony of the online magazine, the JIH President said that its first issue showed that it would play an important role in creating awareness among women, imparting religious teachings and highlighting their potential. He said, “God has endowed women with immense potential. But their potential is not being utilized properly, especially in the Muslim society. Women are usually limited to taking care of the household while they can perform unprecedented achievement in every field. We should learn from Hazrat Ayesha, the wife of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who performed very important feats in all walks of life. We hope that this monthly magazine will be a source of revival for women and a talented team of women will be formed through it.”

 

Addressing the online ceremony, well known poetess Ms.Shahnaz Shaazi has hailed the Urdu magazine. She said that it would open a new useful and beneficial avenue of learning for the womenfolk.

 

Speaking on the occasion, writer and blogger Ms. Zeenat Akhtar has said, “the modern technology has made book reading very easy, but the reading interest is decreasing nowadays among the new generation. Such digital magazines will help in growing their reading interest.”

 

Addressing the programme, former Member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board Ms. Shahnaz Begum from Darbhanga said that the magazine covered all the issues related to women and all walks of life. “This approach will certainly rouse interest among readers,” she added.

 

Ms.Javeda Begum renowned author from Warangal said, “we are losing our culture and identity in today’s rapidly changing world. However, a study of this magazine suggests that it will lead us to the right path, restoring our social identity and imparting religious knowledge.”

 

Speaking on the occasion, editor of the digital magazine, Ms.Mubashshirah Firdos said, “today social media has become a key medium of our communication. It will be useful for humanity, if it is used positively for constructive works, otherwise, it can be very destructive. The aim of this magazine is to carry out the same constructive works.”

 

Delivering the concluding speech, all India Secretary of JIH Women’s department, Ms Atiya Siddiqua said, “talents of women need to be nurtured in a positive way. A magazine with positive thoughts is a timely step in this digital age. Efforts will be made to provide comprehensive content for readers through this magazine. The magazine will cover issues related to worldly and religious matters.”

 

On this occasion, principal of Government Inter College, Ghaziabad,UP Ms. Ela Mishra highlighted the importance of education. Ms.Fatima Tanveer. Safia Yasmeen and Sadia Yasmeen were also part of the programme.
