Tiruchirapalli, Oct 4 : The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind will organise a campaign throughout the State from October 5 to 14 on the life and sacrifices of the Prophet.
In a press release here today, S N Sikkandar, senior state leader of the party, said the campaign, among other things, would include street corner meeting, distribution of pamphlets and organising lecture sessions in educational institutions. A public meeting would be held in the city on October 13. Termed as ‘Ivarthan Mohamed (Sal)’, the campaign was aimed at propagating the principles of the Prophet, he added.
