New Delhi: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) President Syed Sadatullah Husaini has congratulated all the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

In a statement on the occasion, the JIH President said, “may Allah bless you on this Eid. May Allah make it a cradle of joy and happiness for all of us and all humanity and make it a means of starting a new era of joy and happiness. Aamin! “

Recalling that “Eid-ul-Adha is related to the life of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH), a model for humanity, the JIH President said that the prominent aspect of Prophet Ibrahim’s life was perseverance and the friend of Allah steadfastly stuck to his faith, principles, values, purpose, and mission and offered every kind of sacrifice, amid an onslaught of trials.Mr. Husaini said that the storms of adversity tried to unnerve the mountain of steadfastness, but they could not make him budge from his position.

“This enormous steadfastness of Prophet Ibrahim was not limited to him alone. The epitome of determination, patience, and perseverance created a whole family and built an Ummah (community) characterized by these qualities. In the current situation, there is a tremendous lesson and a secret for success and exaltation hidden in this Abrahamic way for the Muslim Ummah. It is the way of Allah that associates supreme achievements with qualities like determination and steadfastness. If these qualities are born in us, God willing, our paths will be bright and so will be our future,” the JIH President added.

Wishing Eid Mubarak, Mr. Husani has prayed to Allah to grant them all the same Abrahamic – iman, steadfastness, and constancy and the ability to carry out the responsibilities imposed on them in the present circumstances.  Aamin.
