New Delhi:   All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) President Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani has visited the headquarters of Jamaat-E-Islami Hind (JIH) in New Delhi.

A meeting was held at the JIH headquarters on Tuesday evening, in which members of the JIH Central Advisory Council, JIH secretaries and other officials were present.

Welcoming the renowned Islamic scholar, JIH President Syed Sadatullah Husaini has expressed happiness on Maulana Rahmani’s appointment as the new head of the AIMPLB. Mr Husaini also mentioned Maulana Rahmani’s services.

On this occasion, Mr. H Abdul Raqeeb, Secretary of the Indian Institute of Islamic Finance shed light on the history, achievements and leaders of the board.

Maulana Rahmani responded to the questions of the participants in detail related to the current issues including the Uniform Civil Code, women’s participation in the board and its efforts regarding the unity of the community.
