Lok Sabha Election Results Unexpected Outcome of Division Among Secular Parties Jamaat

New Delhi, 18 May 2014: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has termed the results of Lok Sabha election as unexpected and an outcome of disunity, division and mutual clashes among the secular parties and their leaders. Mr Nusrat Ali, Secretary General of Jamaat said the results are a big challenge to secular India, its secular constitution and atmosphere of love and communal harmony. But we hope that the overwhelming majority of people who support positive traditions and values will leave no stone unturned to make the new government continue playing the positive and constructive role for the service of the country.

Mr Nusrat Ali said some points in BJP’s election manifesto and statements of its leaders have created apprehensions and doubts about its future course of action. However, we hope the new government and its leaders, in the larger interest of the country, will follow Raj Dharma and work for justice and equality. They will take effective steps to check poverty, inflation, corruption and immorality. Rather than protecting the interests of imperialist forces and capitalist system, they will work for the interests of the country and its people.

Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind expressed deep concern over the fact that it is the first parliamentary election in the history of Independent India that representation of 20-crore Muslim population has slipped down to the worst level. It is feared this will further lessen opportunities for them to protect their constitutional rights, get justice and present their viewpoint on national issues in parliament. The situation demands, Mr. Ali said, that leaders of Muslim organisations and eminent personalities of the community organise themselves, guide the Millat in the changed condition and ask it to execute its responsibilities while posing complete faith in Allah.

The stance is apt. Jamaat should initiate to organise the community leaders and eminent personalities to take stock of the situation and take necessary steps at various levels.

One other main reason of the current scenario is the dismal governance / performance of congress including scams, i believe only saying that “this is an outcome of disunity, division and mutual clashes among the secular parties and their leaders” is not the full truth, there are various aspects to it.

I agree with M.A.Sharief’s suggested course of action

I think this is the time to revive Forum for Secularism and Communal Amity. We need to work along with brothers of other communities and strenghthen communal harmony. We need to reach out to the common man of this country with the message of Plural India. Modi has got just 31 percent of the voters. Major chunk of them have voted for his developmental talk. So we need to protect the nation from the communal poison.

WE MUST ENCOURAGE MORE INTERACTION WITH SECULAR LEADERS LIKE LALLU YADAV AND NITISH KUMAR. OUR SECULAR JOURNALIST LIKE KARAN THAPAR AND VINOD MEHTA WILL BE SOURCE OF ENCOURAGEMENT.

    Dear Brothers,

Muslim brothers, nothing there to worry about the BJP show. If we go through the percentage of Votes BJP got is just 31%. It means that there is no Modi wave. Still there are 69% of Indian dislike this party. Do this 69% are just Muslims. Not at all. Majority are non-muslims. We have humans in India, we can maintain our good relations with them. We can make non-BJP leaders confident about Muslims. we can work closely with these kind of like minded peoples. So that we will not get isolated as minorities (hopeless). If we able to gain confidence of other non-BJP people, we can able to live without any threats from the racist forces (like RSS).

One thing should be noted here. One of the strategy of RSS is of inducting AAP party. If we analyze the origination of this AAP; we can remember the words of Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, he himself don’t know how he got the support of Delhi public and suddenly it turned into political party. He even didn’t thought of running a party and he himself not dream of becoming the CM of Delhi. Gentlemen, earlier this movement got the support of the RSS people, swamys, BJP workers. Then it become a party. The very purpose of creation of a AAP is to use as a tool to demolish Congress in Delhi and in other parts of India by the BJP, RSS. Once the first Objective is attained. Then the second objective is to flush this AAP towards Muslims as sympathizer and vote eater of Loksaba elections. This AAP snatched the votes of Muslims from regional parties of UP and Bihar and Congress. The fact is if AAP was not present their, again this SP, BSP and Congress might have got the same seats what they use to get with the creamy layer of Muslim votes. But this creamy layer was eaten by AAP. BJP garbed all the seats with their regular minimum vote percentage. All other parties lost even though they had their non-muslim vote shares. So the second objective also achieved and the BJP conquered the Center. This was the fact and strategy of RSS (Modi) and BJP, many failed to realize before the elections.

MUSLIMS SHOULD SIT FOR TALKS WITH THE GOVERNMENT. THIS ELECTED GOVT CAME WITH DEVELOPMENT PLANK AND INACTION OF CONGRESS IN ALMOST ALL ISSUES CONCERNING PEOPLE.. IF THE GOVT DOES ANYTHING AGAINST MUSLIMS. IT IS TOUCHING ON THE 1/5TH OF THE POPULATION WHICH WILL STALL GOOD GOVERNANCE AND DEVELOPMENT PLANK. WE HAVE ALREADY LOST OUT TO CHINA AND ASEAN COUNTRIES ON DEVELOPMENT IN THIS AGE OF THINK ASIA AND ITS DEVELOPMENT LEAPS. THIS IS REALISTIC PICTURE. ALLAAH (ST) SHOULD HELP US

    Assalamu Alaikum,
Dear friends, We cannot achieve success/stated results unless we become one Ummah and put the Millat’s interest first than our individual interests. I am as concerned as other muslims given the recent results.
But the most concerning issue here is Muslims fighting against each other, Jamaat should start working towards one Ummah when it comes to these type of situations.
    Jazakallah.

AS NEW GOVERNMENT WILL FORM LOWEST LEVEL OF MINORITY COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVE,
MORE THAN 20 CRORE STILL INCLUDE THEMSELVES AS MINORITY,YES IF THEY ARE STILL DIVIDED,
MORE THAN 800 YEARS WE ARE LIVING HERE WITH OTHER COMMUNITIES AS BROTHERS AND BROTHERHOOD ,WE GAVE THE CHANCE TO SO CALLED SECULAR PARTIES MORE THAN 60 YEARS
NOW IT IS THE TIME ONE IDEOLOGICAL BASED PARTY HAVING THE POWER TO RULE FOR FIVE YEAR OR FOREVER THE BALL IS IN THEIR COAT NOW ,

When we advertise and announce requesting all muslims to vote united to defeat BJP it was our mistake our hindu brothers took this ad challange and they united and voted BJP if we would have addressed all secular loving indian citizens insted of muslim I thing we could have succeeded to defeat, as future stratage we should not address only muslims alone muslim can not defeat the cummunal forcess we should atleast form or join third frent. This can be don no other than jamaat

it is evident that differences among muslim jamats Barailvi, deobandi, wahabi etc led to demolition of Babri Masjid if we are united no one dares to even talk about masjids and madresas (by non muslims) we have to stream line our madresas the quality of islamic sharia is very low , they lack geographical knowledge, the dont no difference between universe and world , space and sky, galaxis etc. the madresa students are lack in conduct (some are good which is very low percentage)
Now we have to concentrate to boot moral values of muslims, good communication, health education, hardwork , and respect the values of Islam (Barailvi, deobandi, wahabi etc) and to counter anti Islam activities and not to keep silent and digest criticism and harresment our organisations to be active in such cases it should not go individual and donot betray them.
the most important is to educate girls about mehram and gair mehram the majority of girls likes to be liberal, lexurious life, enjoyable life which some times goes aginst islam

The world has changed. This election was not about secularism versus fascism. The people wanted a change from the stultifying and corrupted congress government and there was no alternative. Hence the rise of the massively advertised Modi. The hope placed in so-called secular parties remains as elusive as ever. Unless some parties comes out to work hard and try to govern the country without corruption, let us remain satisfied with what we have.

We should work towards building a community with high regards. Then only it is possible.
