Espionage in ministries threat to national interests: Jamaat

February 21, 2015

New Delhi, 21 Feb: Nusrat Ali, Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, has strongly condemned the incidents of espionage in the central ministries and termed them as serious compromise with the national interests. He demanded a thorough probe into the extremely irresponsible activities of staffers of the ministries and corporate executives so that the culprits could be punished and safety of the national interests could be ensured.

The General Secretary of Jamaat wondered as to how high-rank officers in the ministries and corporate world can compromise with the national interests in return of petty benefits and how low they can fall morally. He also urged the government to expose the factors and motives behind the espionage incidents and to take effective measures to prevent such incidents and save the interests of the country from the conspiracies of some irresponsible employees of the ministries and opportunist people of the corporate sector.

He also drew the attention of the government towards the need to instil in the government employees the sense to adopt the value-based attitude and moralities.

It shows that general secretary of Jamat Islami is not a well informed person. I am shocked to see his letter. RIL, ADAG, CAIRN etc cannot do this type of cheap Jasoosi through driver and chaprasee. The owners of these company speaks only to Pradhan Sewak or Mantree not even secratary rank officers. This is a defensive drama by Oil ministry. In budget RIL, ADAG a and Cairn (Hindustan Zinc) will get some extra benefit from Govt. So they have done this drama. Mr. General secretary, please go and take sound sleep.this is not your cup of tea.
