Ameer-e Jamaat-e-Islami Hind strongly condemns execution of Bangladesh leader Mohammad Qamruzzaman

New Delhi, 13 April: Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari, Ameer (National President) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, has strongly condemned the Saturday night execution of Mohammad Qamruzzaman, a central leader and Assistant Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat Islami, and termed it as an extremely unjust and cruel step.

Ameer-e Jamaat said that the Sheikh Hasina Wajid government of Bangladesh has continued its brutal act of hanging true Muslims of her own country and leaders of Bangladesh Jamaat Islami, and popular leader and journalist Mohammad Qamruzzaman is the latest victim. This clearly shows that the so-called international war tribunal and courts, while implementing the unjustified and unjust ambitions of the Bangladesh government, have thrown the requirements of justice and teachings of Islam on the wall and have made appeasement of the dictator government of the country as their religion. Maulana expressed surprise that just a few years ago, Sheikh Hasina Wajid had formed a coalition government with the support of the very Bangladesh Jamaat Islami. At that time, she did not see any fault in this Islamist party and its selfless leaders, nor were they considered guilty of the 1971 War. But today, the very people are being slapped with baseless and fake charges in order to remove them from the political horizon of the country. Maulana Jalaluddin Umari told the Prime Minister of Bangladesh that if she is executing selfless, innocent and Islamist citizens of her country just for revenge or implementing the conspiracy of anti-Islam foreign forces, she must not forget the catch of Allah, His revenge and accountability on the Day of Judgement and give up her unjustified and un-Islamic attitude of killing.

Maulana Umari urged the government of India to use its good offices to keep the neighbouring country from unleashing the atrocities. He also appealed to the peace-loving people of the world and human rights organizations to use their influences to stop the chain of killing of humanity in Bangladesh.

Very Strange! the accused was 19 years old in year 1971. How come a 19 years old boy will do attracities and killings. It was purely an allegation with vested interest. Hasina Wajid is committing a big crime and misusing her power. She should remember that she is answerable to Allah for all her deeds.
