Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hind condemns deadly attack in Afghanistan

New Delhi, 28 Jan: The National President (Ameer) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari has strongly condemned the deadly attack in Afghanistan yesterday in which 102 people were killed and many others injured.

 The JIH President in a statement to the media said: ” We condemn the blasts in Kabul. Violence is the weapon of those who are weak. These types of attack are an open violation of human rights and international humanitarian law and can never be justified. Those who are behind this attack must be brought to justice and deserve strict punishment. I extend my condolences to the families of those who died in this attack and pray for the speedy recovery of those who are injured.”

A suicide bomb has killed more than 100 people and injured at least 158 other people in central Kabul, The attack, claimed by the Taliban, was the deadliest for months. It followed a Taliban attack on a luxury hotel in Kabul a week ago that killed 22 people
