New Delhi, 18 March 2014: Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Omari, Amir (National President) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Tablighi Jamaat chief and renowned personality of the Muslim community Maulana Zuberul Hasan Kandholwi. “The Millat has lost a veteran and selfless leader and a great personality. It is not a big loss of only Tablighi Jamaat but also the entire Indian Muslim community,” said JIH chief Maulana Omari in his condolence message.
Offering his rich tribute to the departed soul, Maulana Omari said Maulana Zuber was not only the reminiscence of Hazrat Maulana Ilyas and Maulana Inamul Hasan but like those great leaders, he was also a great man of Taqwa, preaching and obedience to Almighty. He executed great collective responsibility of reformation of Millat.
Maulana Omari prayed Allah to forgive the departed leader, accept his services for Deen and grant him high places in the Paradise. He also expressed his sympathy with his family, friends and members of Tablighi Jamaat.
