New Delhi, 24 Dec: The Central Tarbiyat Gah was inaugurated by Dr. Mohammad Rafat, secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind at Jamaat’s headquarters here on Sunday.

In the inaugural programme, Secretary for Tarbiyah, Dr. Rafat giving brief introduction of the Tarbiyat Gah and its aims and objectives, highlighted the significance of Tarbia and Tazkia or character building and self-purification in Islam and Sharia. “Inculcating right thinking and deep understanding of basic tenets of Islam among Muslims and purifying their characters and self-development and making good person are the basic aims of this Tarbiyatgah,” Dr. Rafat said. He also sought suggestions from the participants about it.

Delivering the concluding speech, Mr. Iqbal Mullah, Secretary of Jamaat, said, “Tarbiyah and Dawah are the priorities of Jamaat and this Tarbiyat Gah will help in achieving theses priorities.
