Iqbal Ahmed Mirza (Secretary Dawat of Jamaat e Islami Hind Gujarat) along with some Dawah volunteers met Dr.Vallabh Kathiria a minister with the Government of Gujarat and overseeing the Cow Protection Department on 11th January, 2016.  A host of issues including the Cow Protection were discussed. He was also introduced with the basic Islamic tenets and some literature on Islam including Quran and the life of Prophet Muhammad pbuh was provided to him.
