A delegation of Muslim leaders visits victims’ families in Nargund.

Bengaluru, 31st Jan. 2022: A delegation of Muslim leaders led by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Karnataka Vice President Muhammad Yousuf Kanni last week visited the families of Muslim youths, who were recently attacked in Nargand, Gadag district. While 19-year-old Sameer was killed, 21-year-old Shamseer is critical after they were attacked in Nargand on 17th Jan. 2022 by a mob.


The delegation, comprising of Jamiat Ulema Karnataka Secretary Mr. Tanveer Ahmed Sharif, Karnataka Muslim United Front’s Secretary Mr. Syed Iqbal Ahmed, APCR Karnataka Secretary Advocate Mohammad Niaz and Editor of Sahil Online Bhatkal Mr.Inayatullah Gowai met their families in Nargand and expressed condolences to kin of deceased. They also met the community leaders of the town to assess the situation.


Mufti Nizamuddin of Bangalore, Maulana Arif of Gadag, Jamiat’s Mr.K. I.Sheikh and other scholars were also present on the occasion.
