Jamaat-e-Islami Hind‘s Three Days Cadre Convention in Jharkhand

Jharkhand, 19 March, 2012: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind’s halqa Jharkhand had organized its three day long Cadre Convention (16-18 march, 2012) here at Chitrapur in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. The convention started with Dars-e-Quran and several speakers had expressed their views on different topics in the convention.

On the first day of the convention, Ameer-e-Halqa Jharkhand welcomed the guests and participants, and put forward his analysis on the history and relevancy of this convention in Jharkhand. He also elaborated the important points of the policy and program of Jamaat. He appealed to the participating cadre to be active on these points. After the Maghrib prayer, Ameer-e-Jamaat addressed the audience on the topic “Our National Objectives in the Current Plan.” The topic of the last program on the first day was the “Current Situation of Jharkhand and Needful Changes.” Dr Hasan Raza (former Ameer-e-Halqa Jharkhand), along with Jb Abul Arif, Jb Ahmed Riyaz, Jb Ziyaul Haq put their views on this topic.

On the second day, after Dars-e-Hadis by Maulana Shafiq Alam Falahi, the convention started with discussion on the topic: “Our Activities on Different Fronts” in which several leaders of different departments of Jamaat expressed their views. In the second session of the day, Mr. Mahendra Yadav expressed his views on the topic “Right to Information”, along with Mr. Gurjeet Singh on “Right to Education”, Mr Balram on “Right to Food”, Mr. Satyashiv Raman on “Right to Health”, and Jb Arshad Ajmal on “Minority Rights.” According to Jb Nusrat Ali (Qayyim Jamaat), who would lead the Tehreek-e-Islami, would also have the leadership of the Muslim society. Ameer-e-Jamaat said in his address that it is inevitable for both the men and women to strive for the expansion of Islam. He further said that if women are illiterate, somewhere it is the fault of the men.

On the last of the convention, Prof. K. A. Siddiq Hasan said in his address that the social service is an important part of our religious duties. He said that Vision-2016 is a dream with the objective to create the sense of social service in the Jamaat cadre along with several other objectives. Jb Abrar Ahmed (Ameer-e-Halqa, Jharkhand) threw light on the current organizational and movemental situation in Jharkhand. He appealed members and associates of Jamaat to improve their mutual relationships and create a feeling of struggle and sacrifice among themselves.

In the end, Ameer-e-Jamaat addressed the audience and said that we all should make our connection with Allah stronger more than before. The three day long convention ended up with the congregational prayer by Ameer-e-Jamaat.
