New Delhi, 17 Sept 2014: A high-level team of central leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, under the leadership of National Secretary Mohammad Ahmed, is leaving for Jammu and Kashmir Thursday morning. The team will visit flood-affected areas and assess relief work and will chalk out detailed plan for relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims.
A team of doctors and volunteers from Jamaat is already camping in the flooded-affected areas and helping the victims.
Other members of the central team of Jamaat are Rafeeque Ahmed, Secretary, Human Welfare Foundation and Abdul Ghaffar Siddiqui, Assistant Secretary.
