Mumbai: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Mumbai has hosted a ‘Grand Eid get-together (Eid-Milan) programme at the Islam Gymkhana, Mumbai, to promote unity, peace, and amity among people of different faiths. The event was attended by people from different religions who listened to scholars of various faiths speak about values and brotherhood. During the programme, the scholars emphasised the importance of unity and respect for people of other religions.

Speaking on the occasion, JIH Vice President Prof. Salim Engineer highlighted the role of religion in promoting peace, and brotherhood in the country. Other religious scholars also stressed the need to embrace diversity and a collective spirit for the betterment of society.

Attendees appreciated the efforts of JIH in hosting such an event to promote the message of peace, unity, and diversity among the people.
