New Delhi: A Launch Ceremony of the Flag of Children’s Islamic Organization (CIO) was held at the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) headquarters on 25 June, Tuesday.
The program started with the recitation of Surah Al Fatiha of the Holy Quran by a young CIO girl. Assistant Secretary, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Mrs. Khan Mubashera Firdous explained the purpose and objective of the flag hoisting ceremony. Syed Saadatullah Hussaini, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, expressed satisfaction over the activities of the organization. JIH Vice President, S Ameenul Hasan, Syed Tanveer Ahmed Secretary JIH, and other officials were also present in the program.
The event was attended by approximately 150 children, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. Following the ceremony, the children were treated to ice cream, and they were seen enthusiastically waving their flags. The children were accompanied by their mothers.
The Children’s Islamic Organization (CIO), a dedicated group for young Muslim children, has established local chapters in every state, operating under the guidance of trained mentors.
