New Delhi, 15 March: A weeklong human development programme began at the headquarters of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind here on 13th March. Selected persons from Delhi and adjoining states are participating in the programme. This is the first programme of Markazi Tarbiyatgah which was set up last year by the central Tarbiyah department of Jamaat.
Dr. Mohammad Rafat, head of the department, while briefing about the event said: “This is first programme planned for all-round development of Jamaat cadres from across the country and such programmes will be held regularly. According to our plan, we will hold three types of programmes: 1) Short time programme for Jamaat’s members and workers; 2) Short time programme for common Muslims; 3) Correspondence and online programmes for all.”
Maulana Mohammad Yusuf Islahi, Member, Central Advisory Council of the Jamaat, delivered keynote speech on the first day of the event. Some important topics of the weeklong programme include self-development, learning from the Holy Quran and its procedures, study of present movements and basic concept of Islamic movement and study of literature. The format of the programme includes training speeches, seminars, workshops and interactive sessions.
