New Delhi, Nov 11: Every conscious person has an objective of life before him; similarly, nations too have their objectives. And the objectives of nations are devised by their leaders. But the case with Muslim Ummah is different. The objective for the Muslim Ummah has been revealed by Allah the Exalted. It is enshrined in the Qur’ānic term of ukhrijat lil naas (raised for the human beings). The term ukhrijat lil naas implies that Muslims have to strive for the good of entire humanity; they have to invite people to virtue and forbid them from evils. This is the view expressed by Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Omari while addressing the audience in the concluding session of daylong conference of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Delhi and Haryana here today.
