During a recent visit (14 May, 2024) to Jamiatul Falah, a distinguished educational institution nestled in Bilariyaganj, in Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh, T.Arif Ali, the Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), commended the institution’s educational excellence and commitment to empowerment.
Established in 1962, Jamiatul Falah has emerged as a beacon of knowledge, aligning itself with esteemed educational institutions such as Darul Uloom Deoband and Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama Lucknow. T.Arif Ali, acknowledging the institution’s pivotal role in fostering holistic learning, particularly emphasized its dedication to breaking barriers against women’s education, a value deeply ingrained in JIH’s progressive ethos.
During his visit, the JIH Secretary General was impressed by the institution’s alumni achievements, notably the attainment of Ph.D. degrees by over a hundred graduates, reflecting a steadfast commitment to lifelong learning. He also commended the palpable enthusiasm among the student body, noting their eagerness to engage with contemporary challenges while upholding traditional values.
With a student body exceeding five thousand and a library housing more than a hundred thousand books, Jamiatul Falah stands as a testament to the fusion of academic rigor and character development. However, the JIH Secretary General emphasized the institution’s ongoing need for support from philanthropists and benefactors to sustain its noble mission.
As T.Arif Ali concluded his visit, he extended a heartfelt invitation to individuals of influence and means to explore opportunities for collaboration and support, recognizing the invaluable role played by Jamiatul Falah in shaping the future of the community and the nation.
