The Vice President (Naib-Ameer) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Nusrat Ali said that: ‘’Intolerance in society must be confronted at every level and in the same domain where it is found. So the politics of hate and intolerance must be fought politically and similarly if intolerance is found in society at the social level then we must develop bridges of communication and dialogue between communities of different faiths at the grassroots level.

Jamaat is making efforts in this direction with the creation of FDCA, Dharmik-Jan Morcha and Sadbhawna Manch’’. Naib Ameer Nusrat Ali was chairing the first session of a panel discussion – ‘’ Disintegrating Society and Our Responsibility’’ organized by the Media department of the Delhi-Haryana Zone of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.

A galaxy of prominent media personalities participated in the programme including Panini Anand – ex Editor Outlook, Vinay Kumar – ex Bureau Chief The Hindu, Dileep Khan – Associate Editor Rajya Sabha TV, Varun Shailesh – Hindustan, Dheeraj Kumar – Amar Ujala, Ruby Arun – Channel Head – News Express, Abu Nasar – India TV, Qamar Ashraf –The Statesman and Amlendu Upadhaya – Hastakshep Portal.

The second session was chaired by the Secretary General of JIH – Mohammed Salim Engineer. The first and second session was moderated by Wasiq Nadeem and Asif Iqbal respectively.
