New Delhi, 22 July 2014: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind on Friday organized anti-Israel protest demonstrations in different parts of the country against the brutal military operation in Gaza Strip in last two weeks. More than 500 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in the Israeli airstrikes and ground offensive since 8th July.
A massive protest demonstration was held at the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi. Hundreds of people from different parts of Delhi and neighbouring areas took part in the demonstration. Top leaders of the Jamaat including Secretary General Nusrat Ali and Secretaries Mohammad Ahmed, Ejaz Ahmed Aslam and Shafi Madani were leading the demonstration. Dr. Zafarul Islam Khan, President, All India Muslim Majlise Mushawarat, also addressed the gathering.
Protestors were shouting slogans against Israel and United States for the killings in Gaza.
After the event, a delegation went to the United Nations office in Delhi and submitted a memorandum of demands.
Similar protest demonstrations were organized in several parts of the country including Jaipur (Rajasthan), Mumbai (Maharashtra) and Kolkata (West Bengal) in which hundreds of people carrying placards and banners took part.
Good work, whatever we can for the Palestanians who have been driven out of their land as well as for those who have been imprisoned in their own land.
Aap logo ka protest krne ka tareeka mujhe pata nahi accha hai ya nahi, kyuki Aap kuch log inhi protest mai shamil hote ho.i can’t understand why u r not invite city people for protest with u.thats just means that u some people want to bcome famous.???????? That’s big communication problem that we never want protest which look meaningful that really we doing protest or making fun???? Plz plz plz invite city people in like that protest or any kind of work. u r our leader our and we want to show u we r with u.we r against israel .We r with our palestine brother and sisters .plz.try to understand don’t make fun by protest with few people .In few people every government and media not coverage .They r blind if just few people
