Islam Darshan Kendra puts up exhibition at Dussehra Festival in Kota

Kota, Rajasthan, November 7: Like every year since 1977, Islam Darshan Kendra, a wing of Kota unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind put up an Islamic Books Exhibition-cum-Stall for a period of twenty days at the National Dussehra Fair here.

The objective of the exhibition is to introduce Islam and clarify the misunderstandings and misconceptions among Muslims and non Muslims.

Qur’an translations in 35 Indian & foreign languages, Books, DVDs and other multimedia products were put at display as well as for sale.

At the very entrance of the Stall many quotations, message related to Islam and life of Hazarat Muhammed (P.B.U.H.) were displayed on walls. A slide-show presenting Islamic teachings in an attractive manner was also screened.

Apart from all these a full-fledged counseling counter was also installed to answer the queries and questions of the visitors pertaining to Islam. Dawah books and other related products were provided either for free or on subsidized and discounted rates.

Dr. Mohammed Naeem Falahi (Secretary Tarbiyah – JIH Rajasthan) stated that thousands of  Dawah kit comprising a copy of Qur’an, Islamic literature and folders were freely distributed to Non-Muslim visitors as their visiting gift. Visitors gave lots of positive and motivational written comments / feedback, he added. Mr. Gulsher (Ex- President – JIH Kota), Mr. Zahoor Ahmad (Dist. Organizer – JIH Kota), Mr. Yusuf Raaz (President – JIH Kota) were also there to serve the visitors.
