The President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind – Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umri has condemned the twin blasts that took place in Ankara. He mourned the death of more than 120 people in the blasts and said that: ‘’Foreign forces want to foment instability through violence even in those Muslim countries which have remained relatively peaceful all these years. There is a possibility that these blasts may have been engineered with the upcoming elections to be held in Turkey’’. Maulana Umri said that: ‘’we hope the concerned authorities will be able to nab the culprits soon and the Turkish people will remain united and not allow the nefarious design of the perpetrators of the crime to succeed’’.
