Sorrow

New Delhi: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has strongly condemned the terror attack at a caravan of Congress Party in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh and describing it anti-human and undemocratic demanded the government to take positive and constructive steps that could end such unpleasant incidents from the country. Jamaat has also demanded a high level probe to expose the real culprits and prosecute them according to the law of the land.

Mr. Nusrat Ali, Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, in a press statement, expressed surprise at the fact that even after 65 years of Independence, central and state governments neither created an atmosphere
of justice and equality nor could train the citizens not to resort to violent ways to resolve their problems and issues.

Jamaat leader urged the government to honestly analyse its schemes and programs for tribal areas and ensure their justified rights. The government should create an atmosphere there that tribals turn to peaceful and constructive means to resolve their issues. He also appealed to the people
of those areas that destruction and violence cannot resolve their issues rather will complicate them, so they should keep from illegal and unpleasant ways and adopt peaceful, democratic and constitutional means for their struggle.

I completely agree. Those with grievances should resort to peaceful discussion and not to violence for resolution. The government should make a focused effort to educate the people that there are peaceful means to solve problems and what those peaceful means are
