New Delhi: Expressing grief at the extraordinary loss of human lives and properties due to floods and rains in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Nursrat Ali has drawn the attention of state and central governments to probe the human errors, indifference and shortcomings in the planning to ensure the safety of the citizens.
In a press statement, JIH General Secretary also sought attention of the governments to relief for the victims and their rehabilitation at safer places. He also stressed on the need to find out how tsunami in rivers and devastating floods can be controlled. He said it is the duty of the government to protect life and property of the people; so it should see that for need or as belief people do not construct buildings at the banks of rivers or in rivers themselves risking their own lives.
Jamaat leader Nusrat Ali expressed deep sympathy with the families of the deceased people.

As the there is worst flood devastation and JIH always do the relief work then what is JIH plan regarding relief work?Either is it started?then hows going on?

Mashallah Jamat is active , but apart from relief work , it is more important to demonstrate and teach Islam to the affected people as they have lost faith in those demigods\idols . This may be a curse from Allah against the extreme Idol worship and superstitions which afflicts the pilgrims, the pilgrims need to be explained how this can be a curse from Allah for worshiping other then the one true Allah . Jamiat Islami should not shy away from its main purpose to convey Islam to Non Muslims both by relief work and preaching Islam.
Giving Islam\ Dawah is the best Khidmat to the Khalq, specially in these times when they have lost faith in God due to the tragedy.
JIH EFFORTS ARE APPRECIABLE IT IS NOT ONLY THE JIH DUTY TO MAKE A RELIEF WORK JAMAAT HAS A LOTS OF WORKS AND ACTIVITIES IN AND AROUND THE COUNTRY, INSTEAD OF THIS JAMAAT IS ALWAYS AHEAD IN RELIEF WORKS,
THE OTHER MUSLIMS ORGANISATIONS SHOULD ALSO PARTICIPATE IN THE RELIEF WORKS, IT IS THE GOLDEN CHANCE TO SERVE THE VICTIMS WITHOUT ANY DIFFERENCES, WE CAN PREACH THE BASIC ISLAMIC TEACHINGS THROUGH GOOD MANNERS.
