January 3, 2012, Chennai:  Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Chennai organizes a grand public meeting today here at  6:15 pm in Siraj Mahal, Chennai.  The meeting was followed by the Books Releasing Function by IFT.

The meeting started with the beautiful Qirath of the Quran-e-Karim. Jb.Shabbir Ahmed, Zonal President  of JIH Tamilnadu delivered the inaugural speech to the audience.  After him, Dr.KVS Habeeb Mohammed delivered his very important speech on the topic: “Modern Days Challenges and Our Responsibilities”. After his speech, IFT started its books releasing function and three important books were released by All India leaders.

After the books releasing ceremony,   Maulana Jalaluddin Umari, Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind spoke about the Muslim Umma’s responsibilities with Tamil translation.

More than 1000 people participated in the meeting and the books releasing function.
