JIH HRD team visits Nagpur for cadre programme, SBF Camp

New Delhi: A team of the Human Resources Development (HRD) department of the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) has concluded its two-day Nagpur visit.

On the first day of its visit on 18th February, a HRD orientation meeting was organised in Nagpur, in which a number of delegates from JIH, Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) and Girls Islamic Organisation (GIO) participated.

Addressing the cadre, Director of the JIH HRD, Mr.I.Karimullah stressed on the need of learning, development and enhancing personal talents and skills for serving humanity. He motivated the cadre to focus on self-development through various initiatives.

On this occasion, a Practical, Robust Implementation and Sustainability Model (PRISM) for HRD was presented through PowerPoint presentation by the Assistant Secretary of JIH HRD, Mr. Atiqur Rahman.

After an open house interaction, the programme concluded with closing remarks by acting president of JIH Nagpur city, Mr.Shakir Falahi. Mr.Khalid, a JIH member, convened the programme.

On 19th February, the JIH HRD team attended the Advance National Camp for the volunteers of the Society for Bright Future (SBF), which is a national level NGO working for disaster management and relief.

Addressing the volunteers from around 14 states, Mr.Karimullah shared the experiences of relief activities during the Tsunami to inspire them.

Mr. Atiqur Rahman conducted an activity based workshop on leadership during disasters for the delegates of the camp. The HRD team also interacted with the volunteers to answer their queries and motivated them to execute their role effectively.

SBF Vice President Mr.Abdul Jabbar, SBF National Coordinator Mr.Mohammed Irfan, the SBF camp coordinator Mr.Amir Jamal and JIH Maharashtra’s Youth Wing President Mr.Umar were present on the occasion.
