New Delhi, 19 Jan. 2021: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Secretary General T. Arif Ali has inaugurated Khidmat Hospital in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. This is a full-fledged hospital at Bhartaul, in the outskirts of Bareilly. JIH Secretary Mohammad Ahmed, JIH Assit. Secretary Waseeq Nadeed, Human Welfare Foundation Asst. General Secretary Mauzzam Naik, JIH UP West President Ahmad Azeez, other officials of JIH and HWF, were present at the inaugural function.
Bhartaul is located seven kilometre away from the district headquarters, in which proper medical facility is rarely available. The majority of the population of this region is Muslims and they are economically deprived. Rithora region lacks a quality health care facility and therefore HWF’s Vision2026 decided to establish a healthcare facility in the region. The hospital consists of a 24×7 Emergency Service with an ambulance, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgical, Pathology and Radiology Specialties, and a blood bank. The hospital is run by Human Welfare Foundation with the support of the UP HWF. The foundation stone of the hospital was also laid by Mr. T. Arif Ali in July 2019.
During the UP West tour last week, a JIH delegation led by Mr.Arif Ali has also visited Rampur to inspect its properties and assets located across the city. The delegation has also visited Markazi Darsgahe Islami and Junior High School, Rampur, which is the oldest school set up by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind in 1949. The delegation inspected the school for further making it more advance and high-tech and also improving its quality of education and infrastructure.
