Mass death sentence to Ikhwan is the worst judgement in historyJamaat

New Delhi, 29 April 2014: Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Omari, Amir (National President) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, has strongly condemned the death sentences awarded to 683 supporters of Ikhwanul Muslimoon (Muslim Brotherhood) by an Egyptian ‘court’. He termed it as continuation of the chain of worst decisions in human history and a gross violation of the demands of justice.

In a media statement, Amir-e Jamaat Maulana Omari said the judge who pronounced death sentences to the 683 people including the Murshid-e Aam (chief) of Ikhwanul Muslimoon Dr Mohammad Badie is the same who awarded death sentences to 528 other supporters of Ikhwan one month ago. These two ‘judgements’ clearly prove that General Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi, who unjustly and illegally toppled the democratically elected government of Dr. Mohammad Morsi last year, now wants to strengthen his illegitimate regime by killing the servants of Islam through fake courts. Maulana Omari said that trampling of democratic values, toppling of a democratically elected government through illegal means and then awarding brutal punishments to the people who raise their voice for truth and justice are unimaginable in today’s world.

Maulana Omari urged the United Nations and human rights organizations of the world to strongly protest against this brutality and stop the Egyptian government from these inhuman acts of revenge.

Maulana Omari said it is very surprising that the Egyptian court has not shown any seriousness – neither in the latest judgment nor in the past one. Rather, the cases were tried summarily and death sentences were awarded to hundreds of people. This has surprised the West also. Even if the arrested people had committed a ‘crime’ by protesting how this large-scale death punishment can be justified?

Amir-e Jamaat expressed solidarity with all the righteous people who are facing the onslaught of General Al-Sisi in Egypt and assured them that sympathies of all justice- and democracy-loving people are with them and they all are praying to Allah for their victory.

    Assalam-alaikum
The concept of salaried army is creating problems in today’s muslim world and causing hindrance in islamic rule in muslim world.During prophetic time their was no salaried army but all the mominoon were it self a potential army when ever they were called in the cause of islam, truth and justice they gave their full support with their blood and wealth. but today”s scenorio is very different the army of muslim world have been made like wild animals by different tactis applied by their atheist rulers.like they gave the duty of defence to selected individuals(so called armies) as a salaried job which is the responsibility of all muslims in an area .
secondly they do isolate the army from society and do not provide them islamic knowledge which is very important to know the rights of ALLAH AND HIS PROPHET and then the right of ruler. For a muslim it is a general rule that whenever ruler’s order or decision is against ALLAH and HIS PROPHET’S order then that order or decision is not followed but this very basic concept of islam is also not taught to armies in muslim world. and majority of muslims are also not aware of their duty if we see the following ayah of quran then we can clearly say that most of the prime ministers and presidents of muslim world are kaafirs meaning kaafirs are ruling in many muslim countries and we also know that this is also the fault of muslims in muslim world as they do not try their best to bring the law of ALLAH as their constitution and the type of democracy which was followed during khalifah rule.
