23 July, New Delhi: The National Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind for National & Community affairs, Mohammed Ahmed met Iqbal Ansari the son of the late Hashim Ansari at his residence in Ayodhya and offered him condolences on the death of his father and expressed gratitude on behalf of the Muslim community for the services rendered by late Hashim Ansari.

The JIH National Secretary also met Swami Yugal Kishore Shastri and conveyed to Swamiji that he would be one of the recipients of the awards to be given to eminent personalities who have made outstanding contribution for the promotion of unity and communal harmony, on the 20th of August at the launch ceremony of the 15 day nationwide campaign for “Peace & Humanity’’ from the 21st August till 4th September 2016. Swamiji gracefully accepted the news and promised to attend the launch program and offer his services towards the success of the campaign.
