New Delhi, 22 Sep 2015: A three-day central tazkiya camp was organized here at the headquarters of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind under the aegis of Jamaat’s central Tarbiyah Department. The camp, which started on 18th Sep and concluded on 20th Sep, was participated by concerned secretaries and their assistants from 20 zones in the country.
The camp began with the study of Quran by Maulana Farooque Khan. Maulana Waliullah Sayeedi Falahi, Secretary (Tarbiyah), delivered opening speech wherein he highlighted the aims and objectives of the camp besides the importance of tazkiyah and tarbiyah. The keynote speech on “Our Tarbiyah System and its Requirements” was delivered by Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari, Ameer (National President) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.
Other top leaders of the Jamaat who addressed the camp on different topics included Nusrat Ali, Vice President, Mohammad Salim Engineer, Secretary General, Mohammad Ahmed and Mohammad Iqbal Mulla, both secretaries, and Dr Hasan Raza, Chairman, Islami Academy.
