Bangalore:  “The formation of Youth Wing (YW) was a historic decision of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), Karnataka and Insha Allah this Youth Wing will create history in future” said, Janab Muhammad Abdullah Javed, President, JIH Karnataka in the recently held two-day’s workshop by Youth Wing, JIH, Karnataka for its local coordinators from across the state here in Masjid-e-Sa’d Bin Abi Waqas, R.T.Nagar. The workshop began with a Qur’anic talk by Moulana Azharullah Khan Qasmi, Assistant State Coordinator of the Youth Wing. Mr. Taher Hussain, State Coordinator welcomed the coordinators and briefed the programmes in his inaugural talk. Ateequr Rahman, member, State Advisory Committee (SAC), YW facilitated mutual introduction through an Ice-breaking Session and also introduced SOLIDARITY of Kerala in another session. Laeequllah Khan Mansoori and Shabbeer Ahmed, SAC Members presented a report and briefed the plans of Youth Wing, JIH Karnataka. Janab S Ameenul Hasan, member, Central Advisory Council, JIH conducted a workshop on ‘Leadership Development’ and also spoke on ‘Social Intervention and Arab Spring’. Moulana Waheeduddeen Khan Umri Madni spoke on ‘Glimpses of struggle from Islamic history’. In a session on Analysis of Karnataka Scenario, Janab Syed Tanveer Ahmed, Editor, Karnataka Muslims Fortnightly and Janab Akbar Ali, President, Welfare Party of India, Karnataka highlighted the religious, moral, social and political scenario of Karnataka.

Janab Irshad Ahmed Desai, Convenor, APCR Karnataka presented guidelines on RTI, PDS and Legal Awareness. Janab Mulla Liyaqath Ahmed, Rukn-e-Shura, JIH Karnataka spoke on the purpose of life. A SWOT analysis of Youth Wing, JIH Karnataka was conducted in the presence of Dr. Belgami Muhammad Sa’d, State Secretary, JIH Karnataka. Group discussions, documentary show, local experiences – sharing session, Collective Mutala-e-Qur’an and organizational session were also a part of the workshop. Naveed Imran Maniyar, Member, SAC was the organisor for the workshop.
