Blood Donation Camp In Patna

Patna, 26 February, 2012: The Al-Shifa Blood Donors Club (a unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Patna) successfully organized a blood donation camp here in Patna. Almost 49 persons including two women donated their precious blood in the camp.

The convener of the Al-Shifa Blood Donors Club, Jb Shaukat Ali informed that a blood donation camp was organized by the club here in the campus of the Madrasa Shams-ul-Elahi in which 49 persons donated blood with the sense of social service to get the God’s happiness. He said that it is not a new thing for the club to organize such a successful blood donation camp to arrange the blood in advance for the patients who fall in between the struggle of life and death. The club which is a unit of the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Patna has organized many such camps for social service since its establishment. In today’s camp, 49 persons had donated blood in which two women also got this honour of blood donation. During the camp, a mobile blood van with four beds in it, was used for blood donation. The specialty of the camp was that the most of the donors were donating blood for the first time. The donors said that they were happy by presenting their blood to the patients in need. They said that they were doing this only for the sake of All-Merciful Allah.

The members and associates of JIH Patna, and SIO Patna fully supported for the successful organization of the camp, particularly Jb Akhlaq Rehman and Jb Abdul Salam made rigorous efforts to convince and bring the people to the camp for blood donation. Jb Zahid Akhtar,, Rehan Umar, Suhaib Akhtar, Muhammad Abu Zar, Sarwar Ahamad, Dr Shahid, Sarim Ahmad, Shakil Akhtar, Ubaidul Ala, Dr Salahuddin Siddiqi, Shahzad Alam, Anees Anjum (state president SIO), etc. not only encouraged but also fulfilled their moral duties with their attendance at the camp.

The convener of the club, Jb Shaukat Ali presented vote of thanks to Almighty Allah for the success of the camp. He also expressed his thanks to the persons involved in the successful organization and operation of the camp. He also congratulated the blood donors by saying that they had shown a true sense of hospitality to the mankind by presenting their precious blood as a gift. The camp got started at 10:30 am and continued by 3:30 pm. The camp was under the supervision of a team of doctors from Model Blood Bank (Jai Parbha Nursing Home) Kankar Bagh. The doctors’ team expressed its immense happiness on the extra ordinary success of the camp.
