New Delhi: A delegation of 20 persons from the families of arrested youths, under the leadership of Journalist Syed Mohammed Ahmed Kazmi, visited the headquarters of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind on Sunday and met Jamaat leaders. They put up various issues including legal and financial problems being faced by the families.

Secretary of Jamaat Mr. Shafi Madani and Mr. Intezar Naeem Assistant Secretary interacted with the delegation. The main purpose of the meeting was to instill confidence in the affected families so that they do not feel isolated and socially deserted.

Jamaat leaders also assured them of support. Jamaat has decided to extend financial support to the needy families and will also fight their cases from the high court to Supreme Court. In the meeting a proposal put up from Journalist Kazmi to set up a body of the victim families. Jamaat leaders agreed to the proposal and offered their all support.

Journalist Kazmi was arrested in Israeli embassy car blast case in March this year. He was released on bail last month.
